In the fourth Test, India played without Jasprit Bumrah, as he was given a rest by the BCCI. Even though Jasprit Bumrah sat out the fourth game, he stands as India’s top wicket-taker in the series. When questioned about the lack of enthusiasm among young players for Test cricket, Rohit Sharma responded by emphasizing that it is futile to include those who lack the hunger to play the longest format of the game. We aim for them to feel at ease when going out there to accomplish their tasks. They are already clear about their objectives, so there’s no need for constant reminders or discussions. When they come here, they already have a clear understanding of what they want to achieve.”
