The Indian team management, particularly head coach Rahul Dravid, advised Ishan Kishan to participate in competitive cricket before making a return to the national team. Rahul Dravid addressed the situation, stating, “There is a pathway for everyone; we don’t rule out anyone. I don’t want to dwell on the Ishan Kishan matter too much. We are not imposing anything on him, and we are staying in touch with him.”
