The unfortunate incident occurred on March 2nd when Gujarat Titans’ star player, Robin Minz, was involved in a tragic bike accident. While returning home, he collided with another bike, resulting in the loss of control over his vehicle.
According to reports, Minz’s bike skidded on the road, causing him to fall and sustain injuries, particularly to his right knee. He was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment and was kept under observation.

However, subsequent evaluations revealed that Minz’s injuries were more severe than initially assessed, ultimately leading to his exclusion from IPL 2024.
Addressing the media during a press conference, Ashish Nehra expressed regret over the situation, remarking, “It’s a regrettable circumstance, especially considering our anticipation regarding Minz’s contribution to the team.”
Gujarat Titans secured the services of Robin Minz during the IPL 2024 auction, with a winning bid of INR 3.6 crore.
