Scheduled in Dallas on Saturday, June 1, the inaugural clash of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will involve the USA and Canada.

Co-hosting the event, the West Indies will participate in group matches conducted in Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Saint Lucia.

Notable matchups include the highly anticipated encounter between cricket rivals India and Pakistan in New York on Sunday, June 9. Defending champions England and Australia find themselves in the same group stage.

A total of 20 teams, including co-hosts West Indies and the USA, will vie for the championship.

The ICC T20 World Cup tournament kicks off with the USA facing Canada at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium. West Indies initiates their campaign against Papua New Guinea at the Guyana National Stadium.

Group C comprises New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea.

Lastly, Group D consists of South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, and Nepal.

These groups represent the initial stage of the tournament, where each team competes against the others within their group. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Eights stage, leading to the knockout rounds and ultimately the final.
