Jos Buttler Returns from Injury – T20 Blast Comeback

Jos Buttler, the England T20 captain, is poised to make a much-anticipated return to competitive cricket in the T20 Blast quarterfinal. Jos Buttler returns from injury that has sidelined him since England’s semifinal loss in the T20 World Cup against India in June.

Injury and Recovery

Buttler was originally slated to participate in The Hundred tournament but was forced to withdraw due to a calf injury sustained during his preparations. Lancashire coach Dale Benkenstein has confirmed that the team is optimistic about Buttler’s availability for the quarterfinal. He emphasized the England star’s keenness to play and the team’s willingness to wait until the last moment to make a decision. Jos Buttler returns from injury at such a key time, fitting well into Lancashire’s plans.

“That’s looking really positive. We should have everyone fit for the quarter-finals. Jos has been doing a lot of rehab. I’ve been in contact with him and he’s very keen to play. We are happy to leave it down to the last day,” Benkenstein said.  

England’s Upcoming Series

After the T20 Blast, Jos Buttler will rejoin the England squad for the upcoming T20I series against Australia. His return will be a significant boost to the team’s hopes of success in the series, especially given that Jos Buttler returns from injury with renewed vigour.
