Facing a formidable challenge in the semi-finals, hosts South Africa posted a competitive total of 244/7 while batting first. After Dhas’ departure, India lost two quick wickets, but Saharan remained at the crease until the end, getting out when the team needed 1 run to win within 2 overs. Ultimately, India clinched the victory by 2 wickets, securing their place in the fifth consecutive U19 World Cup final
